Join us as we explore the wide realm of folk art, outsider art, and visionary art - and other artistic expressions that are often situated outside the world of mainstream fine arts. This exhibit will highlight the unconventional, the authentic, and the self-taught artists. What materials and perspectives are artists exploring? How are artists blurring the lines between fine and folk, maintstream and outsider? What cultural traditions, personal histories, or social commentaries inspire their work? What identities and issues are finding a voice? How does this work challenge our ideas and address the human condition? These and other ideas and expressions will find a home in this exciting new exhibit.

Anyone signing up for the tournament before 12 noon on Friday, April 26th, either on-line or at the Rod 'N' Reel Tackle Shop, will receive their Captains' Package via first class mail and receive a confirmation via gmail. AFTER 12 noon on Friday - your Captains' Package can be picked at the Rod 'N' Reel Tackle Shop beginning on Saturday, April 27th.
At 8pm May 2, 2019 the online entry form for this year's tournament will close...
To be eligible for door prizes, entries must be received no later than 5:30PM on May 2, 2019
and entrants must be registered to fish for a minimum of 2 days.
Door prizes at the Reading of the Rules, Thursday May 2nd, 2019 - 6:00 PM, small part of boat number must be dropped prior to 6PM NO EXCEPTIONS - (Must have both parts of BOAT NUMBER to WIN DOOR PRIZES)
WRIST BANDS are REQUIRED to attend Captains’ Meeting (See Rule #3) - Enjoy a FREE chicken dinner.

The weekend will also include demos and talks highlighting the hottest trends in the field. There will be a variety of food and drink options, including wine and beer. This is a rain or shine event; no pets.

Some birds are experts at staying out of sight making them hard to identify or notice. On this beginners bird hike we will focus on identifying birds by their songs and calls. Be sure to bring your binoculars.

Reverie Lane, Nashville Darlings coming to SOMD.2019-05-04T17:00:00When North met South in 2014, singer/songwriters Spencer Bartoletti and Presley Tucker became the creative core of country brand Reverie Lane.
Like some of the greatest country stories, theirs began on a barstool at one of Nashville’s famous Broadway honky-tonks. After bonding over a love of classic country music and storytelling, Spencer and Presley started writing songs together. Writing became singing together and singing together led to the formation of Reverie Lane.
