    Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center in Solomons, Maryland, is pleased to present a powerful new exhibit exploring images and experiences of woman in art, as creators, innovators, consumers, and subject matter. She: An Expression of Womanhood will run through September 27, 2020 in the Kay Daugherty Gallery. The juried exhibit features over 80 works from local and national artists. Themes. Images, and experiences are expressed in a variety of mediums, including, painting and drawing, fiber, assemblage, and sculpture.

  4. Outdoor Family Clay Date: Funky Fish Mobiles

    Join us outside in the park and make a family clay masterpiece! Work together to create a dangling fish mobile out of clay. Learn slab, coil, and texture techniques and paint your project with colorful underglazes. These outdoor clay classes are small-group, socially-distanced experiences with no shared materials. A fun and low risk way to spend time together!

  5. Tennison River Cruise @ Calvert Marine Museum

    Enjoy a leisurely hour on the river with a relaxing sightseeing cruise. You will sail the busy Solomons inner harbor, see Solomons Island and the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, pass underneath the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge and turn back at Pt. Patience and the Naval Recreation Center. Departures are from the Calvert Marine Museum dock. All cruises are weather permitting. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis and tickets will be available online and if seats are still available at the Admissions Desk. Maximum capacity is 20 persons. Accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities with reasonable notice. No strollers allowed. All passengers must wear a mask for this one hour cruise.
