Discover the fun and educational Calvert County Fair. Held annually in Prince Frederick, MD, we showcase the best of the area, including agricultural, 4H, contests and prizes, local entertainment, as well as a carnival.

  2. River Cruises on the Wm. B. Tennison

    Enjoy a one hour cruise on the river with a relaxing sightseeing cruise. On your cruise, you will cruise the busy Solomons inner harbor, see Solomons Island and the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, pass underneath the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge and turn back at Pt. Patience and the Naval Recreation Center. Departures are from the Calvert Marine Museum dock. All cruises are weather permitting. Tickets are available for purchase online and at the Admissions Desk. Maximum capacity is 20 persons. Accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities with reasonable notice. No strollers allowed. All passengers must wear a mask for this one hour cruise.

  3. The Barns of Calvert County - Art Show!

    Calvert County Historical Society at Linden

    Join us and ring in the fall with up to twenty local artists displaying their art works featuring the disappearing barns of Calvert County. There will be several booths, displays and organizations on the front lawn of Linden celebrating the farm/tobacco heritage of Calvert County. Approximately fifty new and local works of art will be available to be purchased at this event. Come and purchase a piece of Calvert County.

  4. Dee of St. Mary's Public Sail

    October 3, 2021, 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
    Calvert Marine Museum

    Join us on a 2-hour public sail aboard the historic vessel Dee of St. Mary’s, and experience the Patuxent River aboard an iconic Chesapeake Bay Skipjack. Guests will have an opportunity to help raise and lower the sail. Capacity allows for 30 guests. If there is inclement weather you will be notified by the crew prior to the cruise.
