The CMM Education Team has created FIVE new and unique programs for students K-5 to engage in activities focusing on paleontology, estuarine biology, and maritime history. Each program is available to public, private, and homeschool groups. You must complete registration for your requested virtual fieldtrip experience and we will send you the corresponding website link.

  3. River Cruises on the Wm. B. Tennison

    Enjoy a one hour cruise on the river with a relaxing sightseeing cruise. On your cruise, you will cruise the busy Solomons inner harbor, see Solomons Island and the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, pass underneath the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge and turn back at Pt. Patience and the Naval Recreation Center. Departures are from the Calvert Marine Museum dock. All cruises are weather permitting. Tickets are available for purchase online and at the Admissions Desk. Maximum capacity is 20 persons. Accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities with reasonable notice. No strollers allowed. All passengers must wear a mask for this one hour cruise.

These outdoor clay classes are small-group, socially-distanced experiences with individual kits. A fun and low risk way to spend time with friends! Bring your own snacks and beverages to make it festive, or enjoy a treat from the food truck in the park!
