  4. On Paper: Printmaking, Book Art and Beyond at Annmarie Garden

    The Kay Daugherty Gallery at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center will feature On Paper: Printmaking, Book Arts & Beyond. Selected work will highlight the expanse of printmaking and book arts as an artistic discipline. Techniques such as relief printing, etching, lithography, paper making, book binding, letterpress, collage and papercut will be explored. All works should showcase the unique process and craftsmanship that goes into each handmande paper, print, or collage. Select media welcome; small to large-scale works; indoor and outdoor works; cash awards will be presented.

  5. Virtual - Calvert Marine Museum Fieldtrip Experiences!

The CMM Education Team has created FIVE new and unique programs for students K-5 to engage in activities focusing on paleontology, estuarine biology, and maritime history.   6. Teen Homeschool - Trail School

    March 10, 2021, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Flag Ponds Nature Park

    Our Teen Homeschool classes will meet in-person meetings because the groups are small enough to participate safely. Staff and participants will need to wear masks. Classes will be outside only and if equipment is needed - each participant will have their own. This winter we will start an exploration of the habitats present at Flag Ponds Nature Park. Teens will meet outside each month and spend the class out hiking the trails - we will explore the park, learn to identify the common plants and animals, build shelters, and whatever the season has to offer. Masks will be needed for all participants.
