  4. On Paper: Printmaking, Book Art and Beyond at Annmarie Garden

    The Kay Daugherty Gallery at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center will feature On Paper: Printmaking, Book Arts & Beyond. Selected work will highlight the expanse of printmaking and book arts as an artistic discipline. Techniques such as relief printing, etching, lithography, paper making, book binding, letterpress, collage and papercut will be explored. All works should showcase the unique process and craftsmanship that goes into each handmande paper, print, or collage. Select media welcome; small to large-scale works; indoor and outdoor works; cash awards will be presented.

The CMM Education Team has created FIVE new and unique programs for students K-5 to engage in activities focusing on paleontology, estuarine biology, and maritime history.     A tricky Leprechaun has hidden his treasure in the fields at ACLT! Can you solve the clues to find his gold coins? Attendees use a scavenger hunt to search for "shoes with clues". Find and solve all the clues, and receive your treasure. Please watch the video on the link provided with your children before the event (The "shoes with clues" will make a lot more sense)! Two separate trailheads for this event. March 13th, will be at the South Side Trailhead. March 20th, will be at the North Side Trailhead.

  8. Virtual - Native Flowers for Early Spring Gardening

    Nature needs native plants. Daffodils and tulips are lovely, but the Spring Beauty Bee and the Spring Beauty Flower need each other. Columbine, spicebush, and the sweetest strawberries you’ve ever tasted! These are just a few of the native flowers we will explore. Participants will meet 10+ featured flowers and learn about each plant's "personality" and their role in the ecosystem. This online workshop is designed for adults, ages 16 and up.

  9. Sand and Stars Stroll - Members Only

    Families, Ages 6 and up with adult. We will usher in the Spring Equinox with an evening stroll to the beach. We will look for signs of the emerging spring, enjoy the sunset, and do a little sky gazing as the stars begin to twinkle. Please wear sturdy walking shoes and bring a flashlight or headlamp.
