  2. North Beach Farmer's Market 2021 Season

    July 10, 2021, 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ North Beach Senior Center Parking Lot

    The 2021 North Beach Farmers’ Market season is tentatively set for May 1 through September 25, 2021. We are pleased to announce changes to the market that will give it a traditional, small town atmosphere. The new North Beach Farmers’ Market will be held on Saturday mornings from 8 to 11 am in the parking lot of the North Beach Senior Center. The market will include local vendors with items such as plants, farm vegetables, baked goods, meats, cheeses, eggs and other fresh goods. The Town of North Beach will follow the State of Maryland’s masking order and physical distancing order for outdoor public areas that exist at the start of, and during, the Farmers’ Market season.

  3. Butterfly Safari (Members Only)

    July 10, 2021, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Biscoe Gray Heritage Farm

    We will take a photo safari and hunt for butterflies. Bring your family and your cell phone cameras to "capture" these beautiful creatures. We will get a quick overview of some of our common local butterflies, photography tips, and an intro on how to upload your captures to iNaturalist for documentation. Then head off to explore the meadows on your own for some great photo opportunities.

  4. SHARKFEST!

    July 10, 2021, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Calvert Marine Museum

    Celebrate all things shark, all day, at CMM! Live sharks will be featured in the Corbin Pavilion for viewing. Learn fascinating ‘sharktoids’, examine evidence of prehistoric sharks, and take a picture in the life-size jaws of a Megalodon shark or in a real shark cage. View shark documentaries in the Harms Gallery throughout the day. Food and drink will be for sale on site. Strollers are not allowed in the museum for SHARKFEST. We strongly recommend purchasing admission tickets in advance. Capacity is limited

  5. Live Music & Food Truck at the Vineyard

  6. River Cruises on the Wm. B. Tennison

    July 10, 2021, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Wm. B. Tennison

    Enjoy a one hour cruise on the river with a relaxing sightseeing cruise. On your cruise, you will cruise the busy Solomons inner harbor, see Solomons Island and the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, pass underneath the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge and turn back at Pt. Patience and the Naval Recreation Center. Departures are from the Calvert Marine Museum dock. All cruises are weather permitting. Tickets are available for purchase online and at the Admissions Desk. Maximum capacity is 20 persons. Accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities with reasonable notice. No strollers allowed. All passengers must wear a mask for this one hour cruise.
