For the 2nd year, ACLT is partnering with local breweries and wineries to bring you our “Passport to Preservation” (P2P) – an event that participants really enjoy while supporting local agri-tourism businesses and ACLT at the same time!. Visit participating breweries and wineries (not all in one day!), enjoy exclusive discounts, and get your passport stamped for chances to win great prizes!

The 2021 North Beach Farmers’ Market season is tentatively set for May 1 through September 25, 2021. We are pleased to announce changes to the market that will give it a traditional, small town atmosphere. The new North Beach Farmers’ Market will be held on Saturday mornings from 8 to 11 am in the parking lot of the North Beach Senior Center. The market will include local vendors with items such as plants, farm vegetables, baked goods, meats, cheeses, eggs and other fresh goods. The Town of North Beach will follow the State of Maryland’s masking order and physical distancing order for outdoor public areas that exist at the start of, and during, the Farmers’ Market season.

Come and explore the fossils at Cove Point. Learn more about fossils, where to find them, how to identify them, and what they can tell us about the past. This program is for adults and children 8 and older, accompanied by an adult. Preregistration is required at least two business days before the program.

What's an Insectival? A socially-distanced, family-group nature experience! Buzz on by as we celebrate and investigate insects through self-guided challenges, nature activities, bug hunts, and show & tell investigations! Find your way through various activities with fun photo opps and a take home activity kit.

Come out to the vineyard for some music, great food and wine! We'll have New Orleans By Myra food truck on sight and The Groovespan Duo will be performing from 2-6 PM. No cover - all we need is you!

Make a toy boat from in the Corbin Nature Pavilion! Space and materials are limited. Visitors will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis. For ages 5 and up. Sponsored by the Patuxent Small Craft Guild.

Enjoy a one hour cruise on the river with a relaxing sightseeing cruise. On your cruise, you will cruise the busy Solomons inner harbor, see Solomons Island and the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, pass underneath the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge and turn back at Pt. Patience and the Naval Recreation Center. Departures are from the Calvert Marine Museum dock. All cruises are weather permitting. Tickets are available for purchase online and at the Admissions Desk. Maximum capacity is 20 persons. Accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities with reasonable notice. No strollers allowed. All passengers must wear a mask for this one hour cruise.
