  3. Trailblazers Hiking Camp

    For children entering grades 3-5 in fall 2021. Campers will explore the beauty of Calvert County in this beginner hiking camp. In addition to fun camp activities, we will play trail games and learn about basic hiking safety at four different Calvert County parks throughout the week - Battle Creek Cypress Swamp, Kings Landing Park, Biscoe Gray Heritage Farm, Ward Farm Recreation Park and Flag Ponds Nature Park.

  4. Fossil Adventure Day!

    Join a CMM educator for this fossil field program. Participants will learn about local Miocene fossils and explore the beach to search for fossilized shells, bones, and shark teeth. For ages 8-12. Capacity is limited. Registration is required.

  5. River Cruises on the Wm. B. Tennison

    July 7, 2021, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Wm. B. Tennison

    Enjoy a one hour cruise on the river with a relaxing sightseeing cruise. On your cruise, you will cruise the busy Solomons inner harbor, see Solomons Island and the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, pass underneath the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge and turn back at Pt. Patience and the Naval Recreation Center. Departures are from the Calvert Marine Museum dock. All cruises are weather permitting. Tickets are available for purchase online and at the Admissions Desk. Maximum capacity is 20 persons. Accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities with reasonable notice. No strollers allowed. All passengers must wear a mask for this one hour cruise.
