Annmarie’s Main Gallery will be transformed into temporary artist studios, providing a serene retreat and work space for artists to create. The 30 acre park, patios, and pavilions will host plein air painters and outdoor artists.

Come frolic in the Fairy Lolly and explore our magical village of fairy houses and gnome homes, each lovingly created by children.

Come explore this charming outdoor exhibit of more than 75 handmade houses scattered throughout the trails and woods of the garden. Made by wonderfully creative artists from the community (and beyond), this exhibit features works in all media.

Take one hike each month every month in 2022 on the ACLT trails and win some really cool prizes! Not to mention all the great benefits to your physical and mental health and well-being! It's free to participate. Every time you visit the ACLT trails, use the QR code located at all trailheads to ensure your hike is counted. All adults who complete the challenge will win ACLT merchandise. Choose from water bottles, knit hates, gaiters, mugs or baseball hats. Children will receive free ACLT decals and stickers.

A weekend full of birding field trips with Naturalist Guides all around Southern Maryland. There will be field trips, speakers, a poster session, raffle, photo contest, and the social.

Every year, volunteers are given the opportunity to see what it is like to be an archaeologist and excavate an actual site, through our Public Archaeology Program. You can help us dig and screen for artifacts in the field or wash objects at the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Lab. Each day offers opportunities for those who want more than just digging. You can come as often as you want – an hour, a day, the entire month! It’s a fun way for the whole family to learn about the past. Who knows what great discoveries await you? Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no fee, but space is limited and registration is mandatory.

The museum and grounds will be open exclusively for guests with disabilities and their families, friends, or caregivers from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This FREE event is offered in cooperation with Calvert County Parks & Recreation Therapeutic Recreation Services (TRS). Meet the museum otter mascot, learn about fish, fossils, river otters, skates and rays, maritime history, and enjoy activities in the Discovery Room. Explore the boat basin and Drum Point Lighthouse. A calming room will be available. The Museum Store will be open and full of items for all ages and interests. Cruise on the Wm. B.
