The Waterman & The Chef: Scallops2022-05-04T18:00:00A unique look at a husband and wife duo who harvest and prepare the best the Chesapeake Bay region has to offer. Peppered with a bit of history and humor, the Waterman & the Chef is hosted by Donald Novak, a waterman of nearly 40 years, and his wife Gwyn, chef and owner of No Thyme to Cook, a recreational cooking studio on Solomons Island. Each episode follows the Novak’s as Donald harvests a specific catch after which they make their way into the kitchen where Gwyn creates a variety of amazing dishes using it as the centerpiece. The series will also feature guest appearances by colleagues in their respective industries such as scalloppers off Ocean City and Michelin-star chefs in their own kitchens.
