Taney Place Farm, home to Battle Creek Beef, has been operating since the early 1800s. The Wells family produces corn, wheat, soybeans, hay, and straw, along with Angus beef. They offer all-natural, choice Angus beef, pork, and eggs. Their beef and pork are USDA processed, frozen, and vacuum-sealed. These products are available year-round at the farm store, Chesapeake's Bounty, Jake's Produce Stand, and various farmers markets. Shipping is also available for meat products.

Small family-owned flower farm growing specialty blooms since 2017 and specializing in dahlias. We use organic, regenerative and sustainable practices with an emphasis on no-till and soil health. Our offerings include CSA Bouquet Subscriptions, floral workshops on the farm, DIY flower buckets and a limited number of bespoke wedding florals each year.
