New arrivals are launched weekly, providing customers with fresh and exciting options for their wardrobes. In May 2023, AllyCatWalk launched its mobile boutique, “Daisy” – a fully renovated 1978 Sovereign Land Yacht. Customers can catch Daisy on the road at pop-up events. The boutique’s temporary warehouse is located in Patuxent Plaza, between Beauty Nails and Southern Roots Hair Salon, with plans to open a new store in May.

The Blue Shell Gifts and Decor was founded in November 2021 after Vickie retired from a 25-year career as a mortgage loan officer. In addition to her work in the mortgage industry, she also published Southern Maryland This is Living magazine for 24 years. After retiring, she was invited by her sister, Jackie Martin, to open the store in Solomons, in the same location as the Jacqueline Morgan Day Spa. The name “Blue Shell” reflects Vickie’s love for blue seashells, which symbolize beauty, uplift, and cherished moments. The shop offers a thoughtfully curated selection of gifts, fashion, and home décor inspired by seaside living and the spirit of giving.

She repurchased the land in 2021 and reopened it as K&K Adventure Park, bringing back popular attractions like the 18-hole mini-golf course and batting cages. Updates include repaving the old bumper boat pool into a bumper car area and adding a rock-climbing wall. Ridgewell hopes to eventually expand the park to include indoor activities such as black-light mini golf, laser tag, arcade, VR escape room and laser maze.
